Multi Adventure Tour - Adriatic Northern Islands, Croatia

After arrival to Pula, the Adventure Roads team will transfer you to our base for the next 2 days in the center of Pula. After welcome drinks, tour overview, and briefing await, where our fearless tour leaders will fill you in with all the details. Welcome dinner of local cuisine will get your taste buds on high alert for the following week.

(BIKE + HIKE) - distance 40 km (25 mi) / elevation 500 m (1700 ft) + hike 4 km (2.5 mi)

You've waited long enough to see if all the stories about Croatia and the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea are true, so today we're cycling straight into the adventure. The island of Cres is sparsely populated and you will most likely see more sheep than people. Such an atmosphere of peace and solitude is what this bike ride is all about. Smell the pines, feel the sun on your skin, move through nature, and arrive at the magical Mali Lošinj town that will be your home for the week.

(HIKE) - distance 12 km (8 mi) / elevation 300 m (1000 ft)

Attractive mountain peaks of Losinj Island, along with a breathtaking view of the Cres-Losinj archipelago as well as colorful the Adriatic Sea & Coast landscapes have always attracted nature lovers. We'll walk the solitude trails along the coast, take a swim in a secluded turquoise bay just to get the energy for the climb ahead. On good weather, one can see all the way to Istria peninsula and Kvarner Bay, the Gorski Kotar mountain range, and the magnificent Velebit Mountain peaks. This hiking effort might award you with more views than you hoped for and give you a glimpse of where the adventures in the days that follow, will take us.

(SEA KAYAK) - 4 h

Visiting Lošinj often makes you feel like you didn't have enough of it, so a day in the kayak will rest your legs and show you the island from another perspective to fill up those mapping voids. If we get lucky, there might be an occasional dolphin playing around our kayaks, to remind us that the beauty of life lies in simple things and we're all a part of this breathtaking place.

(HIKE) - distance 13 km (8 mi) / elevation 600 m (2000 ft)

Osoršćica Mountain spreads along the northern part of the Lošinj Island from towns of Ćunski to Osor. It is a recognizable feature of the island, rising in a volcano-like shape from wherever you look. Some people jokingly even call it a Croatian Fuji, even though its prominence is not nearly as close. This day might take you slightly out of your comfort zone and show you what hiking Adriatic islands is not a walk on the beach. Once you get to the top you'll understand why people come back to this view again and again. Find a nice flat rock, settle down on top of it and enjoy this  moment.

(BIKE) - distance 30 km (20 mi) / elevation 100 m (300 ft)

You've earned your easy day and today you will have it. Lungo mare or a path along the sea goes a long way on the Lošinj Island. You'll hop on your bikes and enjoy the mellow ride your own way whether that means tasting the local cuisine, enjoying coffee on the main square, or having a splash into the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.

(HIKE + BOAT) - distance 12 km (8 mi) / elevation 300 m (1000 ft)

Although it is hard to say which island gem is the best we'll be bold enough to say we have saved best for last. You'll take a walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on Cres Island where the boat will take us first. It's a place you've seen on the fairytale covers of Adriatic Sea posters and ads, but never knew existed in reality. Soak in the wilderness around you, experience the moment and let all the adventures from this week find their place in your heart.
